Ryanair Expands Winter Schedule from Košice Airport

Irish airline Ryanair has expanded its winter schedule from Košice Airport.

The schedule will include five destinations. The main new feature will be the continuation of direct flights to Málaga, Spain, which previously operated only during the summer. Košice Airport noted that the part of Spain where Málaga is located has a mild climate and receives more than 330 days of sunshine a year.

Flight prices will depend on the date and demand, with the cheapest return fares starting at €30. The flight to Málaga takes approximately four hours.

Overall, compared with the previous winter season, the total number of flights per week will increase by approximately 13%.

Ryanair flights from Košice Airport in the 2026/27 winter season:

— Málaga (Spain) — 2 flights per week;
— Prague (Czech Republic) — 5 flights per week;
— London (Stansted Airport) — 4–5 flights per week;
— Dublin (Ireland) — 2 flights per week;
— Liverpool (England) — 3 flights per week.

Previously, we reported that Ryanair was preparing to reduce the number of flights during the upcoming winter season due to sharply higher fuel costs. The cuts are expected to affect less profitable routes across Europe, including some services from Bratislava Airport.
