The Institute for Economic and Social Reforms (INEKO) has published its ranking of Slovakia’s top schools based on academic performance. Schools from Bratislava and Trnava have once again taken the top spots.
The INEKO ranking has been published annually since 2009. The authors of the study stress that it does not provide a comprehensive assessment of school quality, but instead focuses on students’ academic performance. The rankings are based on results from national tests at different educational levels, final examinations, as well as domestic and international academic competitions. The study also takes into account unemployment rates among graduates of the schools.
