Her hit <em data-start=\"221\" data-end=\"234\">Ain\u2019t In LA<\/em> has now spent two weeks on the chart.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"274\" data-end=\"566\">The English-language single <em data-start=\"302\" data-end=\"315\">Ain\u2019t In LA<\/em> was released on 23 July. It quickly began gaining popularity on social media. The song received a major boost after Ad\u00e9la performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago, after which the track spread rapidly on TikTok and began accumulating millions of streams.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"FULL SET AD\u00c9LA\u2019s Lollapalooza performance with intro + KGB + FinallyApologizing \" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4Luj8xwlOI4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"851\">Before entering the main U.S. chart, the song reached No. 17 on Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 \u2014 a weekly chart ranking the 25 songs closest to entering the main hit list. On 11 August, the single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 85, and a week later it climbed to No. 84.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"1091\">The song has also achieved success in other countries. <em data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"921\">Ain\u2019t In LA<\/em> entered Spotify\u2019s global Top 50 after surpassing 30 million streams. In the UK Singles Chart, the song reached No. 33, while in the Philippines it climbed to No. 26.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"AD\u00c9LA - Ain&amp;apos;t In LA\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0ijm2Xui5N8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1095\" data-end=\"1500\">In <em data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1111\">Ain\u2019t In LA<\/em>, Ad\u00e9la addresses girls who grew up far from the world\u2019s cultural centers and have become accustomed to thinking that big dreams are out of their reach. One of the song\u2019s central messages is that success does not require moving to the American capital of the entertainment industry. Ad\u00e9la sings about girls from \u201cunknown places\u201d and encourages them not to see their origins as an obstacle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1800\">The same idea is reflected in the music video. The singer filmed it in her native Bratislava, including on the streets of the Petr\u017ealka district. Instead of the familiar Los Angeles scenery associated with American pop culture, the video features apartment blocks and streets of the Slovak capital.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"2047\">The visual style deliberately draws on the aesthetics of the mid-2010s, with bright colors, dance-oriented energy and an atmosphere reminiscent of 2016. At the age of eight, she began dreaming of becoming an American performer and later pursued ballet professionally.<\/p>\n<div class=\"no-scrollbar flex min-h-36 flex-nowrap gap-0.5 overflow-auto sm:gap-1 sm:overflow-hidden xl:min-h-44 mt-1 mb-5 not-first:mt-4\">\n<div class=\"border-token-border-default relative w-32 shrink-0 overflow-hidden rounded-xl border-[0.5px] md:shrink max-h-64 sm:w-[calc((100%-0.5rem)\/3)] rounded-s-xl\">\n<div class=\"group\/search-image @container\/search-image relative rounded-[inherit] h-full w-full\">\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2784\">She studied at the ballet academy of the Vienna State Opera before enrolling at the English National Ballet School in London. She later moved to Los Angeles and attempted to join an international girl group through the reality show <em data-start=\"2604\" data-end=\"2630\">The Debut: Dream Academy<\/em>. Out of approximately 120,000 applicants, she made it to the final 20 contestants but was eliminated during the first stage of the selection process.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2786\" data-end=\"2942\">The setback did not stop the singer.
